How to play

The entire game operates through mouse controls. Move your cursor toward the edges of the screen to pan your view across the security office. Hovering or clicking the monitor bar at the bottom flips up your camera feed, allowing you to cycle through different rooms across Freddy Fazbear's Pizza.

On either side of your desk sit two sets of wall buttons:

• Door buttons: Lower and raise the heavy blast doors to seal the left and right entryways.
• Light buttons: Illuminate the hallway immediately outside your door to spot animatronics lingering in your blind spots.

Each active system increases your hourly power usage. If your power hits zero before 6:00 AM, the lights cut out, the security doors open automatically, and Freddy Fazbear will corner you in the dark. Surviving requires checking cameras sparingly, flipping hallway lights on only for a split second, and closing doors only when a threat is visibly present outside your doorway.

Survival tips

• Conserve the battery early: Nights one and two give you breathing room to learn movement patterns. Avoid sitting on the camera monitor during early hours so you retain plenty of power for the late-night rush.
• Track Pirate Cove: Check Camera 1C regularly to keep tabs on Foxy. If his curtains are wide open, lower your monitor immediately and prepare to shut the left door before his sprint reaches your hallway.
• Rely on audio cues: Footsteps tell you when Bonnie and Chica are on the move, while Freddy's low laughter indicates he has shifted rooms. Chica also makes distinct kitchen noise on Camera 6.
• Check blind spots, not just cameras: Bonnie approaches from the left hallway and Chica from the right. When they stand right outside your office door, they cannot be seen on standard hall cameras—only the door light reveals them.
